My first owl image was in 2013.
I was two miles from my house when sighting of a short Eared Owl hit the grapevine.
Whilst looking for Waxwings, a man informed me that he had seen an Owl hunting.
Off to the location I went with my Canon 50D, not knowing that I would spend the next three weeks in the field filming a Short Eared Owl.
Over the years, it has been the bird that has given me the greatest excitement as soon as I look through the lens.
Sadly with my hip replacement and my ankle in Plaster since April, the work on the Owls has paused. I can’t wait to start again as soon as I am mobile.
The nest boxes need repairing and some need replacement.
Thank you for visiting my site and I hope you enjoy all the images I have captured through long hours of research, observation, commitment and skill.
