Walking through Bluebell Wood I used the trees to my advantage because the area was known to me from previous encounters with Roe Deer.
Military training has given me an edge over wildlife, and I use the natural surroundings to gain ground.
The camera was ready, and as I reached the small stream I stopped and crouched down.
Looking through the trees there was a Roebuck, sitting proud, and looking down my lens.
A Beautiful face, very relaxed – trying to work out what what I was.
The Shutter burst into action with 8 frames.
What a lovely experience in the wild with the Roebuck.
