Waxwing

This beautiful bird arrives in the UK whe Scandinavia has a poor harvest of berries. They turn up November December and very rarely arrive in flocks in the North West sometimes in Blackpool.

2013 was the last sighting I saw of this fantastic colourful bird. It was in the strangest place outside a Supermarket where there were Rowan trees with thousands of red berries on.
